Groove Armada es un duo formado por Andy Cato y Tom Findlay que llevan desde finales de los 90 realizando muy buena música electrónica. Aparte de su carrera como músicos, también son productores, habiendo trabajado con artistas como Kylie Minogue, Neneh Cherry, Bryan Ferry, DJ Gram’Ma Funk, Sophie Barker, Nappy Roots, Fudge Dog, Sunshine Anderson, Mutya Buena, Jeru The Damaja, Richie Havens o Will Young. El nombre de la formación, procede de una fiesta que se celebraba en Newcastle en la década de los 70 con el mismo nombre.
«I won’t kneel» fue el sencillo de presentación de su noveno disco, «Black Light«, siendo publicado el 16 de noviembre de 2009. En esta canción, cuentan con la voz de la cantante inglesa Saintsaviour.
